DEARDEN SOLUTIONS / NORWAY + REMOTE
I help independent hotels and small businesses fix the things that make customers hesitate, staff lose time, or managers keep putting off.
Websites, review support, direct booking checks and practical software. Built around the business you actually run, not a template somebody else sold you.
WHERE I START
The outdated page. The reviews nobody answers. The direct site that says something different to Booking.com. The spreadsheet that became a system by accident.
Your website, OTA listing or public reviews leave small doubts that make the safer option feel like booking somewhere else.
Reviews, updates or routine checks matter, but they are the first things to disappear when the week gets busy.
Paper notes, repeated messages, spreadsheets and manual steps are eating time because nobody has had the chance to fix the process properly.
WHY ME
I have spent more than fifteen years in hospitality, service and operational roles, including nearly a decade inside small hotel environments. I know what a busy desk looks like when the phone is ringing, guests are waiting and the “quick admin job” still has not been done.
Alongside that, I support Hawk-Eye technology operations at live football events across Europe. Working in that environment has strengthened how I think about reliability, communication and the bigger operational picture. When systems are being used live, small problems can quickly affect several people, so you learn to stay calm, understand what is happening around you and solve the right problem rather than simply reacting to the first thing you see.
That experience carries directly into the way I approach websites and software. A website is not just a design project, and an internal system is not just a collection of features. Both sit inside a wider business, affect real people and need to work properly when somebody actually depends on them.
Dearden Solutions brings those experiences together. I use web development, user experience and custom software to solve problems I understand from the operational side first.
WHAT I CAN TAKE ON
Start with the problem that feels most familiar. The scope and price are agreed before any work begins.

I compare your direct website with your main OTA listings and guest feedback to find inconsistencies, booking friction and anything that may make the direct route feel less convincing.
What you get: a practical report you can use yourself, hand to your existing supplier, or ask me to help implement.

Mobile-friendly websites and landing pages built around what your customer actually needs to know. No filler pages, no hidden basics, no unnecessary complexity.

QUOTE scoped individuallyFIX THE PROCESS THAT NEVER QUITE FITTED THE TOOL
If paper, spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages or an awkward existing system are slowing the team down, I can map the problem and build a focused desktop or web tool around the way the business already works.
Pricing: clear quote before work begins. Cost depends on workflow, users, integrations and ongoing support.
Tell me what the system needs to fix ↘NOT JUST A SERVICE LIST
Seeing what can be done is easier to judge than a paragraph full of promises.
The issue: important information was easy to miss and the site needed a clearer route from first impression to enquiry or booking.
The work: stronger hierarchy, mobile-friendly layouts, clearer room information and better visibility for the next action.
The issue: operational information was spread across separate notes, messages and manual follow-ups, making status harder to see at a glance.
The work: a desktop tool bringing handovers, task tracking, status updates and daily operational records into one clearer place.
The issue: comments, OTA presentation and direct-site messaging can point to the same trust problem without anyone connecting them.
The work: compare the public picture, group recurring themes and turn them into a short list of things worth fixing first.
WHY THE DETAILS MATTER
A guest rarely sees one page in isolation. They compare. They search. They read what other people said. Small contradictions can quietly make the direct route feel less certain.

NO POLISHED BRIEF NEEDED
It can be a website that feels dated, reviews nobody has time to answer, an OTA listing that does not match the direct site, or an internal process everyone has learned to tolerate.
A rough explanation is enough. I will read it personally and tell you where I think the best place to start is, even if that means telling you that you do not need me.
